How to Clear Browser Cache
In unusual circumstances, your web browser may mistakenly store (cache) an old copy of your remote access login credentials, preventing you from accessing remote access. If this happens, removing the stored information from your browser usually resolves the issue. Below are instructions for removing any stored CoachProxy web site information from your web browser’s file cache:
Menu
- Safari on iOS (iPhone or iPad)
- Chrome on iOS (iPhone or iPad)
- Chrome on Android (Phones and Tablets)
- Chrome on ChromeOS, Linux, OSX, and Windows
- Firefox on Linux, OSX, and Windows
Safari on iOS (iPhone or iPad)
- Ensure all windows with CoachProxy are closed.
- Launch the ‘Settings’ app from the Home screen of your iOS device.
- Scroll down and tap on Safari.
- Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on ‘Advanced’.
- Tap ‘Website Data’.
- In the ‘Search’ box at the top, type ‘coachproxy’.
- Tap ‘Search’ on the keyboard to hide the keyboard.
- Tap ‘Edit’ at the lower right corner.
- Tap the Minus (-) sign to the left of any ‘coachproxy.com’ sites.
- Tap ‘Delete’ on the right of the site to delete cached data for CoachProxy from your iOS device.
- Click Done.
Chrome on iOS (iPhone or iPad)
Note: Before continuing, please ensure you know your passwords needed to log back into any websites as you will be logged out of all websites in Chrome.
- Launch Chrome
- Ensure all CoachProxy tabs are closed.
- Tap the 3 dots (menu) button at the top right.
- Tap ‘Settings’ in the menu.
- Tap ‘Privacy’ under ‘Advanced’.
- Tap ‘Clear Browsing Data’ at the bottom of the page.
- Ensure only ‘Cookies, Site Data’ and ‘Cached Images and Files’ options are checked.
- Tap ‘Clear Browsing Data’.
- Again, Tap ‘Clear Browsing Data’ at the bottom fly-up to confirm.
- Tap ‘Finshed’ at the top right of the page.
- Reboot your iOS device
Chrome on Android (Phones and Tablets)
Note: Before continuing, please ensure you know your passwords needed to log back into any websites as you will be logged out of all websites in Chrome.
- Launch Chrome
- Ensure all CoachProxy tabs are closed.
- Tap the 3 dots (menu) button at the top right.
- Tap ‘Settings’ in the menu.
- Tap ‘Privacy’ under ‘Advanced’.
- Tap ‘Clear Browsing Data’ at the bottom of the page.
- In the ‘Clear data from the’ drop down, select ‘beginning of time’
- Ensure only ‘Cookies and Site Data’ and ‘Cached Images and Files’ options are checked.
- Tap ‘Clear Data’.
- Reboot your Android device
Chrome on ChromeOS, Linux, OSX, and Windows
Note: Before continuing, please ensure you know your passwords needed to log back into any websites as you will be logged out of all websites in Chrome.
- Launch Chrome
- Ensure all CoachProxy tabs are closed.
- Click the 3 dots (menu) button at the top right.
- Click ‘Settings’ in the menu.
- In the ‘Search Settings’ box, type ‘cache’.
- Click ‘Clear Browsing Data…’ toward the top of the page.
- In the ‘Obliterate the following items from:’ drop down, select ‘the beginning of time’
- Ensure only ‘Cookies and other site and plugin data’ and ‘Cached images and files’ options are checked.
- Tap ‘Clear browsing data’.
- Close the ‘Settings’ tab.
Firefox on Linux, OSX, and Windows
- Open Firefox
- Ensure all CoachProxy tabs are closed.
- Click the Menu (3 horizontal bars) at the top right.
- Click ‘History’ in the menu.
- Click ‘View History Sidebar’
- In the History sidebar on the left of the Firefox window, type ‘my.coachproxy.com’ in the Search box at the top.
- For all sites listed below the search bar, Right-Click (two-finger tap on OSX) and select ‘Forget About This Site’
- Click the small X at the top right corner of the ‘History’ sidebar.
