Description
A commom install location for CoachProxy is inside the Passenger seat console. If your coach has no available Spyder multiplex ports in this location, the hub will let you share an existing port with CoachProxy. NOTE: all Allegro Bus and Zephyr coaches and 2018 or newer Phaetons typically have available network ports in the passenger console, so this hub is not needed for these coaches.
You can install CoachProxy in other areas without this hub—anywhere you have an open multiplex network port within close proximity of your WiFi router. Connecting CoachProxy to network ports in exterior storage bays is possible, but the reception to your in-coach Wi-Fi may be degraded.
